Statement

My work looks very different to me now that it did just a year ago. So much has changed. There has been a revolution. A younger, less rational movement has taken hold.

The work comes more easily from me. It’s no longer a difficult birth. I don’t fight it. I don’t judge it once it’s born.

I stopped thinking so much. I started sketching more, with broader strokes that I don’t allow myself to refine.

The place where I make things is the one place I allow myself to feel everything. I impose no rules here. Truly, I have little choice. But it seems safe, somehow, to operate within the rules that the material provides. So I feel here.

That’s what you see.

You see my intuition and emotion and naked aesthetic.
You see my (r)evolution.
